Come join us on Saturday, February 7th in Mill Valley for Bay Area Community Counseling’s 2025 Annual Fundraiser! The theme this year will be Favorite Decades Party where DJ Airsun will be starting off the night with 70s and moving through the decades to the 2000s by the end of the night. We’ll awards for best dressed decade, and we’ll have SF’s favorite drag queen, Elsa Touche, as our MC and auctioneer. There will be wine and beer donated by local wineries and breweries and small bites and paella donated by De Fount-Haberlin Spanish & Portuguese Catering with ingredients donated by local markets. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate connection whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day or Palintine’s Day! Bring your friends, family and colleagues. Come join us!

BACC has been providing low fee therapy since 2011 to hundreds of clients. There are so many people in need of therapy and its hard to find effective therapy when you don’t have the financial means, especially when having needs for expertise in areas of family therapy, ADHD treatment, couples therapy, anxiety and OCD treatment, therapy for children and teens, treatment for depression, and a number of other issues. We provide services in person in Marin, San Francisco, the East Bay, the Peninsula, and the South Bay and throughout California via Zoom. Our Bay Area community is one large community, so come help support!

We also have our Family Institute of Berkeley, which is part of BACC and provides services through BACC, as well as providing training for clinicians in family therapy, using the “one way mirror” approach with a team helping a family. This is done via Zoom, so that clinicians throughout the U.S. and world can attend trainings and develop their skills working systemically with families and couples.

BACC is raising funds to be able to provide more services to those in need. Currently, BACC provides therapy on a sliding scale, as well as those who qualify for Victim’s Compensation, Aetna Health Insurance, and Cigna insurance. With donations, we’ll be able to provide services to more clients at a lower rate, as well as contract with counties and other insurance plans to provide more services to children, families, couples, and adults in financial need. Donations also enable us to train the next generation of therapists in culturallly competent, effective, up to date, evidence based treatments to best help our clients!

The Favorite Decades Party was a great success! We had nearly everyone on the dance floor, and the paella was amazing! There was wine, laughs, and Elsa Touche was awesome! We had some great silent and live auction items that you can check out on our auction page and we had wine, beer and ingredients for the catering donated by our wonderful supporters. We raised a lot of money for a good cause and raised enough for 145 therapy session for clients, which is a full course of therapy for 15 adults or 7 children. Thank you all for your support and come join us next year!!

2024 Annual Fundraiser

The 80’s Party was a big hit and the ‘85s were an amazing band! We had a lot of fun and our silent auction and live auction were a great success! We raised enough money to cover 85 sessions for children, teens, families, couples and adults in financial need afford effective, evidence based therapy. Thank you all for your support!
